OUR MISSION

The Trial & Error and Trial An Error Bootcamps were created with accessibility to oral advocacy activities in mind. That's why all our profits will be going towards undergraduate mock trial and/or moot programs and competitors to make sure that finances are never a barrier to students' participation in the activities we love so much!

Meet the Team

OUR STORY

How did T&E come about?

Jakob and Rory's commitment to engaging youth in legal literacy and advocacy began after a project they completed together in their 11th grade Introduction to Canadian Law course. Since then the two have worked hard to give back to the community. The two have volunteered at high schools coaching students in preparation for the annual Ontario Justice Education Network mock trial tournament. Rory and Jakob have acted as judges for mock trials around the world, for high school and undergraduate level mock trial. The two have also volunteered for legal non-profits focused on helping students create networks within the legal field and exposing them to various forms of law. Now, they have turned their attention to Trial & Error, an intensive bootcamp designed to teach students, young and old, experienced or inexperienced, the A-Zs of mock trial in 5 short weeks, aided by a wonderful array of legal professionals who make up a community of lawyers willing to give back to students and ignite the spark within them!
